Modifying Quotes

did you ever figure out how to do this? I have this plugin and can’t figure out how to change/edit the quotes. Where do I go!!! Thanks!

Yes. I had simple forgotten where to find it and my colleague reminded me. In the Dashboard view, hover over “Plugins” and you will see the option to choose “Editor”. Once you select that, there is a drop down menu (top right) and you can find Simple Daily Quotes there.

Simple replace existing quotes with the ones you want to share.

Sorry to bug you again! do you know what would cause this? After I change a quote at the end of the quote I am getting the word “By” and then some other text that is white that I can’t really see? Check it out on the front page livingmydream.com, bottom right

Not a problem. I looked at your site in Safari and Chrome (Mac) and don’t see the extraneous characters. Is it still showing up that way for you? If so, you might try doing a search for “by” in the text of the plugin page where you are editing the quotes and see if it picks up on anything that looks out of place.

Thanks so much for looking, I finally found the problem last night. While I was editing the quotes the plugin crashed, fatal error, so when it was back up the settings were set to default so the “Promote this plug in” and “Tweet” were set to “yes” and one of those was causing the weird text. Thanks for looking and thanks on the website!
