Modifying the categories in the sidebar

  • Hello Everyone,

    My compannies video blog https://www.dssimonvlogviews.com has on the sidebar the huge list of categores that are actually the tags of each post. First off, I want to take down the cumbersome categories/tags and replace them with more general categoies that are not tags, but still items that when you click on it takes you to those posts.

    So main questions are:

    1. First off, how do you take down take downs are the category links in the sidebar without erasing them as tags in the posts.

    2. Can you add a category that can link to some posts without it being a tag in the post.
