• Hi,

When files and images are uploaded to wordpress the user is given the option of supplying them with a “title” and “description”. Is it possible to modify these attributes once an images is already uploaded to the server?

(I have uploaded many images to an online art gallery, phyllisbenson.com. I didn’t give them titles at the time of uploading, but would like to do so now.)

    Can anyone help?

  • Uh, I’m not sure this is a WP question per se.. Can’t you adjust/add such things to these images via the control panel for the gallery? Or..am I not understanding what you’re saying..? =/

dhbenson is referring to the image upload panel on the post page. What you do is:

    1) Click on “Browse All”
    2) Select the image whose information you’d like to update
    3) Beside its title, there should be an “Edit” link. If you click on that, the URL/Title/Description form will appear.
