I noticed one of my clients is using your plugin, but they had never created a gallery. After updating to the latest version. The plugin is asking to update the database, but it takes you to an import page. With the site not having any existing galleries the page just remains at 0% for ever. I disabled and deleted the plugin and installed it again, but this did not clear up the issue. Thoughts?

  • Hello @jhanten,

Thank you for reaching out to us!
That message to update the database is only for users that had galleries in the old version.
If your client did not have galleries in 1.3.7 then you can safely ignore that message to update the database.

We will also address this in our next update.

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Best wishes,
    Mihaela

Did this get addressed? I see the last reply stating it would be addressed in an update was over 5 months ago. I am having the same issue across multiple sites that never had galleries, but would like the notice to go away/be dismissible.

I have the same issue. There were no earlier galleries needing update, but the message still appears, saying “Modula needs to upgrade the database, click here to start the upgrade.” This is confusing my clients!

Just updated plugin to Version 2.1.0 and the message is still there.

We really need a way to dismiss this message!

    Thanks for your help!

I have Version 2.1.6 and this problem still persists.
    1. Why is this issue marked as resolved?
    2. When will it actually BE resolved?
    Thanks!
    Charles
