I can add a Modula block to the sidebar widget, but it won’t let me select a gallery. I get the error message, “this block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”.

Modula gallery works on regular pages.

Not sure if this is related, but the console reports an error as well:

    Hi @ctarbet,

    Thanks for reaching out!
Can you please send me a screenshot to see how you added the widget?
Modula has a special widget you can use instead of the block. Please see my screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/tKcAjf6
Can you please try again using this?

Please let me know how it goes.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

    Thank you!

Using the correct block as directed solved my problem. I did not realize there was a special block for the widget area.
