• I am using Modularity Lite and trying to set up the slideshow. The directions read “By default, the slideshow pulls in the five photos in the images/slideshow/ folder inside your theme folder.” I don’t know where this “theme folder” is or how to put my photos there.

Could anyone help me out? It may seem like a silly question, but it’s driving me crazy. Thanks everyone1

  • Your themes folder is in the wp-content folder. Inside the themes folder you find a folder called modularity-lite and inside of that is the images folder with the slideshow folder.

It’s not at all a silly question. There are a lot of folders inside of other folders that they forgot to mention in the instructions…

I am having the same trouble. When I type in siteurl.com//wp-content/themes/modularity-lite/images/slideshow/image1.jpg I only get the previously uploaded image. I can’t seem to figure out how to change the image, and when I try to type in the same url as an admin, It just links me back to the home page. Thanks for any help!

Are you talking about themes than you go to editor. Is that what you mean by wp content folder.

download a free ftp client like filezilla
type in your hostname etc etc
connect, itll show you a list of folders
    browse wp-content/themes/modularity-lite/images/slideshow
    replace images there
