    Hey there!

I changed my theme to the Astra theme, just too many problems with Hello Theme from Elementor but another issue came up now, would get boring if not^^ ?? If I click on any module on my course page it gets me to an 404 page.

As you can see also the learning mode is enabled so I don’t it where tjhe problem comes from.

Ok now I found the issue. If enable theme styles the 404 error disappears and I enter the learning mode correctly. But I want to disable the theme styles because they are causing some layout issues. What can we do here?

If i enable the theme styles and blocks the url looks like this:

    https://harmonikapuls.com/modules/1-reihe/?course_id=5226

If i disable the theme styles and blocks the url changes to this and results in 404:

    https://harmonikapuls.com/learn/modules/1-reihe/?course_id=5226?course_id=5226

The problem is also not caused by theme, I switched to standard wordpress theme and problem persists.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you tell me from where are you accessing the link to the modules pages?

On the front end of the website, modules show up in two places.

    1. Course detail page
    2. Learning mode page

On both pages, the modules are only used to provide a hierarchical separation of the lessons of the courses and show up as accordions. When a user clicks the module’s name it either expands or collapses the content within.

A regular user of the site ideally should never encounter the /module/ URL directly. Can you tell me why exactly are you trying to access these pages?

    Hey there,

thanks for reply! If I access any course on the course overview page I get to the overview and all the titles of the modules are links:

    Course Page

If I click it first goes to this URL ‘/modules/1-reihe/?course_id=5226’ and then during the page loading it changes to this URL ‘/learn/modules/1-reihe/?course_id=5226?course_id=5226’ and finally gives out the 404.

    Hi @bbua97,

Thank you for providing the screenshot!

It sounds like you’re trying to navigate to a page dedicated to a module, but it no longer exists in Learning Mode.
This is a known issue, and I’ve added this thread in our GH issue:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/error-404-with-modules/

I recommend you to subscribe to the GH issue above to get updates on the fix. Please feel free to continue your conversation there if you have any further findings.

    Thanks!

Thanks for reply but sadly that is some bug with high priority to fix it. Also you forgot to share the GH issue’s URL with us.

    Hi @bbua97,

Here’s the link to the GH issue: https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/issues/5008

    Thank you!
