If so, you should be able to click on the gear icon in the top right hand corner for the sidebar to appear: https://cloudup.com/cdMMiW78VuP

Yes – see this code which was recently (January) merged: https://github.com/Automattic/sensei/pull/3869. What version of Sensei are you using?
