moesia updates in preview does not update site

I imported blog from wordpress.com. I’ve been cleaning up the blogs, using page builder. The posts look fine. So then I split the line and added an image to the page builder on the blog. Again the updated blog looks fine. But when I go to the blog page — originally “sample page – post page” now titled “notes & news — post page” — I don’t see the site builder changes. So then I try to edit the “notes & news” page itself, and in the editor it still shows the sample text, not my blog entries. When I convert to page builder and preview changes, the preview comes up to my home page, NOT the “notes & news” blog page. The top bar indicates it is previewing “notes & news,” but that’s not what I see. So, need help updating the blog page so my blogs will post as I have written them, or is this not possible?

If it isn’t, then is there a way to get the featured image to come up in line with blog text instead of above it?
