Monolog Library Version

    Hello,

    We are using Shield Security and today after updating Shield Security received this error message –

    ‘You have a PHP library conflict with the Monolog library. Likely another plugin is using an incompatible version of the library.

    Monolog library is version 1. Version 2 is required. Location: “Plugin – Matomo Analytics – Ethical Stats. Powerful Insights.”.’

    We have updated Matomo to the latest version and the error still persists – is it possible to update the Monolog Library version?

    Hi @masidus Unfortunately this plugin is now incompatible. The problem is with one Matomo vendor libs.

    The core team is reviewing how these libs are loaded to fix this problem but it will be done only in Matomo 5. It is scheduled in 3 months. Sorry for any inconvenience caused due to this.

    Hi @varunmatomo,

    Thank you for your reply and this is no worries – the PHP library error doesn’t seem to affect our functionality at all so is not a major issue.

    Looking forward to the fix and Matomo 5, hope you’re keeping well and thanks again!
