    With MonoWP Child Theme you can make your own deep customizations to MonoWP, without directly modifying its files, and still receive updates to MonoWP without losing those modifications. MonoWP Child Theme includes everything from MonoWP by default. This includes the design and any of its functionality.

    HOW TO INSTALL
    MonoWP Child Theme can be installed normally like any other third-party theme:

    1. After you have installed MonoWP, download the child theme zip file from here.
    2. Visit your site’s dashboard and navigate to?Appearance →?Themes.
    3. Click the?“Add New Theme”?button in the top left corner then click the “Upload Theme” button.
    4. Locate the downloaded theme zip file and upload it, then click the “Install Now” button.
    5. Click “Activate” link to apply the theme to your live site.

    CUSTOMISATIONS
    You have the option to overwrite any template, part, or pattern that exists in MonoWP by adding a file of the same name in MonoWP Child Theme (patterns must also have the same registered?slug?field). Of course, you can also add brand new templates, parts, and patterns to MonoWP Child Theme, even if they don’t exist in MonoWP.

    You can also add your own custom code to theme.json, style.css and functions.php files, by going to Tools →?Theme File Editor.
