    Hi,

Your plugin says that it “Works perfectly together with the Google Analytics by MonsterInsights Plugin.” but on a site I manage, in Site Health, MonsterInsights is saying that there are multiple tracking codes:

We have detected multiple tracking codes! You should remove non-MonsterInsights ones. If you need help finding them please read this article.

When I deactivate Google Analytics Opt-Out the message disappears from Site Health.

Is there any way to resolve this? Is the site being double tracked or not?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey there,
    and thanks for reaching out.

The answer is: the opt out plugin does not add a tracking code. It only adds the code that is used to stop the tracking.

I guess what MonsterInsights is doing is to check if the Anyltics-ID is somewhere in the page, which is true because it’s needed to stop the tracking.

    Hope that helps ??

I am also seeing same message on my website. I have monsterinsite active and I have added Google Site Kit, through which I enabled Google Analytics. So far I do not see any issue in site performance but the “critical message” as above is worrying me.

What is the solution? Do I need to delete anything from code? How do I get rid of this problem?

No need to worry. MonsterInsights just counts occurrences of the UA-number. This doesn’t necessarily mean that a page hit is tracked multiple times (at least not from my plugin).

Anyway, I’ve updated my plugin so that this error does not appear any longer (version 2.3.4).

    Cheers ??

You wrote that your fingers hurt, but you still didn’t solve the problem
