Month shortcode not working

I am trying to change the calendar over to the new version. The old version is working fine. On our home page, I have the tribe_mini_calendar activated and is displaying a calendar with the month and events and lists the events below it. If I turn the new styles on, then calendar really shrinks and things don’t look very good. I have a test site on my laptop that I use to test the site before putting it out live. On my laptop if I turn on the new style and I changed the short code to use [tribe_events view=”month”] then it works ok. I get the big calendar and a list of events. Yet for some reason when I put this on the live server, it says that there are no events listed even though it is listed in the events admin side and if I change to list view, the events will show up. They just don’t show up for the month or the day. I have the events_calendar Pro and the basic events calendar shortcode so I don’t know what is going on. Why it works on the testing server but not the live server. The short code is hardcoded into the home php file with do_shortcode(‘[tribe_events view=”month”]’) line. As of right now the live is still using the old style with the do_shortcode set to the tribe_minicalendar. Any help would be appreciated.
