I tested your plugin on your site and noticed an inconsistency in how the moon phase was mentioned as part of the horoscope reading. Today’s actual phase is waxing gibbous, but the reading stated waning gibbous instead.

I wanted to check whether the moon phase information in the readings is dynamically generated based on real-time lunar data or if it follows a pre-set calculation. If the latter, it seems there may be an inaccuracy in how the phases are determined. Given that many users rely on precise lunar phases for astrological interpretations, ensuring accuracy in this detail would be important.

Could you clarify how the plugin determines the moon phase in the readings and whether any adjustments might be made to improve accuracy?

    Looking forward to your response.

Hi Thank you again for reporting this issue. In answer to your question. The moon phases are calculated dynamically, however what you were seeing was due to a bug in the calculation of the flag for Waxing/Waning. The issue was Waxing/Waning was determined by comparing longitude, but this did not account for the Sun-Moon relative positions correctly. We have applied a fix and tested it to ensure that the moon phases calculated correctly for Waxing/Waning as well as the other major moon phases and everything appears to be working correctly. We have regenerated the horoscopes for the day so that they reflect the correct Moon phase.

Again – Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention!
