“More” Button vs. “More” as comment….

    More bizarre wysiwyg behavior –

    If I’m typing in a post and I click the “more” button, it nicely separates my post into the two sections I want for front page and article page. If, in HTML mode, I simply type in <!– more –> then it does not get recognized at all.

    Is this normal? Is there some invisible madness happening inside the wysiwyg editor?

    Seems odd you would manually type the code instead of using the button, but that is neither here nor there. It seems you are typing the code incorrectly don’t add the spaces like so:

    <!--more-->

    Hmm.. that could be it. It’s just habit. If I’m on a roll typing it’s sometimes easier to type things out (and I hate using wysiwygs). yeah, i’m an old school curmudgeon perhaps.
