More Control Over Entry Summary

Hey Scott & Community,
Looks like the “entry summary” div pulls the first X characters / words out of my article and uses that as a preview for non-sticky posts. I’m having an issue where my posts have a synopsis, but it tends to be shorter than the word limit of entry summary, so it pulls in more than I want it to. Any suggestions for how to fix this?

An example would be:

I want this:
Title: Blog Post #3
Synopsis: This post is about a cat.

and when you click “Blog Post #3” it would take you to the full text. What’s happening now is:

Title: Blog Post#3
Synopsis: This post is about a cat. Cats are cool. They are [..]
