    I’ve had this same problem before and it was either because of multiple loads of the jQuery Cycle script or because I hadn’t properly closed a custom wp_query.

    I’d view your source code of the live site and check how many instances of the Cycle script are running, and if you are familiar with theme templates, triple check them to make sure all queries have been properly closed.
