  • Hi – it’s here: https://www.software-enabled.com/ld1/cookie-policy/

I just followed the link from the ‘More Info’ button on the notification bar that the plugin creates.

That’s the one I put in by hand. I installed the plugin in the /ld1 subsite on my network, and the cookie policy page was generated on my root site only. So, I just created a cookie-policy page and copied the text across.

As folks tailor their own sub sites, I wonder if the cookie control widget invoked in their dashboard will overwrite what I’ve got in the root site. Yet to see what happens.

Very good widget by the way. I am tailoring the text to meet the needs to comply with Doubleclick guidelines, so I can use some of the demographics pieces in Google Analytics. Happy to contribute that back later (when I’ve written it) if it helps.

Okay – it’s possible that Network Activating it won’t generate pages on each sub-blog. That’s something to look at.

Activating it per sub-blog should work though.

    All contributions gratefully received.

The case I had was networking activating the widget, then trying to install the first instance in one of the subsites (before I’d even done one in the root site in my network). The message appeared on the subsite okay, but the associated page got created only in the root site.

I’ll be preloading this page in every subsite instance, so no worries. I trust it won’t create the cookie policy page if one is already there under the cited name.

    Shouldn’t do.

Same problem on my network wordpress install, cookie-policy page created only in the primary blog and not created on the sub blogs. I tried also to save settings for each subblog for autocreate the cookie-policy page but nothing done.
By the way the plugin works properly for all subblog.
I suggest only to add the setting for disable the functionality of UK Cookie Consent, so is possible to enable it only for the sites of the wordpress network that really use cookies and disable for the others.

Hi – we’re going to look at multisite for the next release.
