More info toggle doesn’t appear if there’s no contact details

    Some of the ‘store’ locations I’ve added to this map don’t have contact details (phone, email, website), but there are opening hours and descriptions that need to be shown.

    For these the ‘More Info’ toggle doesn’t appear at all even though there is more info – and there’s no option available to have these(description & hours) on display either.

    I think this is a bug because it does work when I add contact details to them. Even though contact details are not even hidden by this toggle, they’re always showing (if the location has them).

    Using (show list below map) template, and (show more info details in the listings) because I can’t get this more info toggle to work AT ALL in the map popups, which would be preferable and more user-friendly.

    [also note, there are no errors in the dev-console that might indicate an incompatibility error. Using WordPress 5.4, Divi theme, and Yoast SEO]

    Sorry for the late response.

    It’s not a bug, the more info is designed to now show up if there’s isn’t a whole lot of more info ( the phone / email / fax ) to show. It’s indeed confusing, and will also change in the next update.

    The description / hours are left out by default since they take up a lot of space, for now you will have to modify the template to change this, but in the next update you will be able to change this on the settings page.

    I ended up creating my own templates for it this morning, yeah. In our case, the opening hours are more important than stuff like phone and email address as the service can only be provided face-to-face. People will want to know where and when they can go. And this is generally true for retail based locations too I imagine. If you consider how Google Business Listings treats its opening hours – tells us whether that location is open now and when it closes today in one line, and then drops down the weekly opening hours. Might be something worth considering for future updates?
