More link does not work

    Hi,

    The “more” link shows up formatted like a link, but it does not work.

    In our case it says “weiterlesen” instead of “more”.

    These are the settings:

    Views / Content:
    * Automatic excerpt
    * “Add a Read more link to” “expand content in place”

    oh, i found out the reason for this behavior.

    I’ve set the custom length to the first 100 words, so it always already showed the whole text and that’s why it couldn’t expand the content.

    Actually that’s not the reason for this behavior – if you set the custom length to 100 words, ‘read more’ should not show at all for testimonials with less words, so it’s a bug in the plugin. Note that the ‘Read more’ link does not work and it hides some text from the testimonial. In fact this bug has been in every version since 3.1.7 and still no fix.
