More Post Shown then Selected

    I am using the AgentEvolution Theme Open Floor space. On the home page I have set up to show blog post using Genesis Featured Widget Amplified. I have it set to only show the three most recent posts, but instead it is shows 17 posts. When I set the number to 0 no posts show. Any other time I set the the post number to any number above 0 it shows about 17 of them.

    The blog posts are imported from another blog the client writes, and there is a featured category that is checked on all the posts. I tried unselecting featured, but that did not work.

    Please advise.
