More Templates,Badges and Design Options

    Hello Sir,
    I know that I have had some beautiful conversations with you, and your answers have been promising.

    But like Oliver Twist, it is never enough. So I’m here again to bother you with the following Feature Requests:

    1.) MULTIPLE TEMPLATE DESIGNS
    One of the most important thing that I’ve asked, is that you should have a Template Builder. Now, if we have a Template Builder, It can be Visual based like that of Zip Recipes plugin, or Shortcode based like that of Cooked plugin(I don’t really care).

    Although, the Visual based system is easier for many people to use. The Visual system means that you have to create Blocks for Gutenberg, and Widgets for Elementor and other Page Builders.

    The shortcode system is flexible in the sense that it can be placed anywhere–in Gutenberg or in Page Builders like Elementor, Divi, Visual Composer and so on.

    The choice of whichever style you choose, is yours to decide. What’s important to me, is that we should have Multiple Template Designs in the Template Builder.

    INSPIRATION
    Install WP Recipe Maker(the Free version), and you’d see that they have more than just one style of Template(even in the free version).

    In Delicious Recipes plugin, You are fixed to just one Template Design and that’s a lack of imagination and a lack of extensive creativity.

    Please, start working on creating a Template Builder, that also has Multiple Template Designs.

    2.) ABILITY TO STYLE EACH TEMPLATE PART
    Your plugin is so inflexible. One great and amazing power that is missing in the plugin is that we are terribly locked to your colours and design for those Template parts.

    I’d like to be able to change the icon of my timer, change it’s colour etc. I’d like to do the same for Print, Directions and every other metadata icon of the plugin.

    This means that you need to create a functionality in your plugin to enable us have an icon package that enables us to change icons, icon colours, icon sizes and so on.

    3.) CATEGORY BADGES AND BADGE COLOURS
    If you go here — (https://www.chelseasmessyapron.com) and scroll down to her “New Recipes” section. You will see Recipe Badges that function like the Recipe Keys.

    We want something like that in Delicious Recipes plugin. Apart from the Recipe Keys, give us Recipe Badges, and the ability to add Colours to the Badges as well.

    Hi @gamicord,

    We are really grateful for your valuable feedback and suggestion for the features that will add value to our customers. It has been only 4.5 months since we released the plugin. We already have a long list of features that we have already planned for the next 6 months and a year. Yes, we agree with you that there are lots of things that can be improved and added to this plugin to offer more features and flexibility.

    Coming back to your features request:

    1. We have added to our list to allow flexibility to change the template designs. We will be also offering more templates and layouts in the future.

    2. We have plans to offer flexibility to change or style certain components in the future.

    3. For the recipe badge, we cannot say for sure but it looks interesting. You can submit this feature along with others on our roadmap so other users can also vote for the features. We can surely prioritize any features if many request them.
