More than one block per post

    I’m curious if there is any reason it restricts one block per post? I review a few series in one post and it would be great to use this block but sadly I can’t. Is there any way around this? I see someone else asked this question but it was ticked resolved with no response.

  • There are technical limitations to adding multiple blocks to the same post, which is why it’s set to only one block per post. By removing that restriction and adding a second block, upon saving the contents of the first block would end up being identical to the contents of the second. This is because the block stores its data in post meta, and post meta values (title, series, etc.) must be unique for every post.

    Finding a solution to this would complicate the code significantly, so unfortunately I’m not able to lift this restriction.
