Do you mean the page doesn’t finish loading, usually with the header but no footer and a blank content area? That would be because you have so many tags/pages/categories/whatever you calling with the shortcode and your server times out.

Yes, that’s what’s happening. The page doesn’t finish loading. But the admin/edit page also fails to load when I try to save a page with more than one shortcode. In this case all I get is a white screen on the admin end.

    I don’t think I’m calling many tags. Here’s the page I’m working on: https://wp.lehman.edu/avalanche/browse-more/

The additional custom taxonomies I’d like to include on this page include even fewer tags than this. Some of them only have a half dozen tags. But even if I add one more of these shortcodes to the page, it doesn’t work.

Just a quick update. I had to change the page I referred to in my last post. Now it is displaying all the tags/custom taxonomies I want, but using a different plugin (Multi-Column Taxonomy List).

As you see, calling all these tags does not time my server out using this other plugin. But I like yours better, so if you can think of anything I’d really appreciate it!
