Morphology LiteSite Having trouble with image post thumbnail

Latest version of WordPress and morphology lite.
I am using the latest version of Morphology Lite. I am experiencing a similar issue to the one described in this forum post here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/tile-layout-home-page-showing-blank-spaces/
For example, image 8 rows down from top on the right side (white tree, white building) has a little white space underneath. The image I uploaded is 765 × 570. Same for the left side image 8 rows down (guy in orange shirt in front of orange building) which is 2448 × 3059. Same for images on rows 10, 12, and 16.
I added in the custom CSS as put forth by @alchymyth in the forum but it isn’t helping in this case. All photos uploaded are over 570 x 570.
Can anyone think of possible roots of this problem?

problem is with the ‘dusk in dakar’ image;
and with the ‘cihangir ..’ image;
and the ‘chinese…’
and the ‘the white album’ …which are all less than 570px wide originally…
