Actually I have a simpler idea. How can I modify the query to only display likes in the current month? I imagine that would be a much simpler solution.

Like only display in widget IF Post Month (Date post was published) is equal to Current Month.

So basically it only displays the top liked posts from the current month.

Ex:
Post Date – June 12th 2015
Current Date – June 20th 2015 (This would display in the widget)

Post Date – May 12th 2015
Current Date – June 20th 2015 (This would NOT display in the widget)

But again, are you able to tell me how to hack it to only display for the current month since you said that was simple? Will do it this way until the premium version is ready. Need this option asap or I’ll have to switch to another similar plugin I found. Which i’d rather not do, but it’s important to have the current liked posts on the site now.
