Since the latest plugin update, my “Most Popular Content” section has been completely messed up. I’ve disconnected and reconnected Analytics, but I’m still getting basically blanked out results. I’ve confirmed my homepage title is not in Spanish, haha, and I’ve also confirmed all the pages listed have actual titles set.

This section has been working fine for the past few months. The Popularity section is still pulling data from Search Console just fine as well, showing multiple posts with hundreds of clicks and impressions over the past 28 days. But Analytics is still saying my top pages only have 1 or 2 views.

I’m happy to provide Site Health information or anything else you might need to help debug this.

Yes, Site Health Info would be super helpful. You can provide it here or through this form.

Sure thing, I just filled out the provided form with my Site Health Info

@shyzer thanks for the details. We’ll confer with the team about this and follow up.

In the meantime, could you reset Site Kit in full and reconnect Analytics and let us know if the issue persists?

Sure thing, I just did a reset of Site Kit, then added Analytics back to Site Kit. However, the issue persists and I’m getting the exact same incorrect stats.

I have the same issue. I also reset and still the same issue. It is correct in analytics, showing the most viewed pages first. However with sitekit it is showing alphabetical or something which makes no sense.

It started with the last update.

    thanks

@shyzer many thanks for the follow up! We’ve confirmed that this a bug and we’ll be working on a fix here: https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1867

Feel free to follow the issue and we’ll also update the topic on the progress.

(thanks for the info @tkyle! Feel free to follow this topic or open a new topic if you’d like us to address your case specifically)

@shyzer the minor version 1.13.1 was just released to fix the issue.

Could you update to this version and let us know if the issue is resolved?

You may need to log into your site in an incognito browser window to clear the session storage to refresh the Analytics data.

Thanks again for your report on this!

Version 1.13.1 fixed the issue without even needing to clear the session storage!

Thanks for the quick replies and fix!

@shyzer awesome to hear! Thanks for the update.

If you haven’t already, it would be great if you could share your experience with Site Kit in a review.
