• Vague customer support at times.

Be sure to explain well what you need help with or you may get a half answer or a bit of defensiveness.

Otherwise, it’s a robust plugin with lots of options for event creations, ticketing and attendees management (email confirmations and follow-ups, check-in list, etc). You may want to look for something simpler if you need something simpler with less functionality, try the free version before purchasing perhaps. But it can be a good option for bigger organizations with a lot of participants to manage.

This isn’t the cheapest piece of software out there, and a bit difficult to get around if you’re trying to make some customization and don’t know much about Object Oriented PHP. The support forums have a ton of questions, so you might find yourself having to dig through a lot of threads before you can find an example that may work for you. Documentation feels a little lacking/scattered, but if you do dig you can usually find something.

    Hi flavweb,

I’m very sorry about your recent bad experience.
I checked our support ticketing system and see you marked your support topic as “Resolved”. I’m going to set the topic back to Unresolved.

I’ll be happy to assist and see what else we can do to solve your issue. If you’d like, we can follow up on your original ticket in the premium forum.

I hope we can resolve your issue so you can continue to enjoy our event plugin.

    Sincerely,

    Josh
