Mostly crippled dont bother

  • The plugin features are mostly crippled. They want $40 for 6 months usage to keep update support. Fancy Gallery at Code Canyon is way better and a one time $29 updates for life. I am a programmer, this plugin does not uninstall itself from the database when deleting the plugin so it leaves garbage behind and atop that the code itself is not very good. Fancy Gallery is far superior. Dont waste your time installing this as if you do then you have to waste more of your time cleaning up the database. How it works (in respect to backend user interface) is again like tragic in comparison to Fancy Gallery.

    This plugin is not worth $40, $30 or even $20. Save yourself the effort.

    I just think you are a fake user who try to advertise some plugin comparing with us.

    I got the same feeling near visiting you plug-in sell site…there is no way I would pay 40 bucks for a solo plugin where even for 6 month usage. It was like spit in the face and took me 1 second to close your site with such a ridiculous offer… (that’s how one picks it up!)
    Also, 40 bucks is where I can buy whole theme with tons of 100times better plugins already bundled in it…and life time support…
    I know you would like to live large from your plugins, but that’s just not how that works, you are not selling iPhones here, you are selling expensive plugin where, a free one might just be positioned right next to your HUGELY overprice one…

    No I am not trying sell another plugin and quite frankly thats really presumptuous of you to say. The fact is your free plugin is pretty much crippled. While you may want to disguise that someone needs to pay $60 to get the “Pro version” which is not crippled and HIDE that as “support” is you simply fabricating the facts. If that were not the case people could simply download a non-crippled version and pay for support if they want it.

    The plugin is not worth what you are asking. Why? Because a video gallery is not exactly an advanced application. A $2 game on a smart phone has more code, is more advanced than your gallery.

    Again, where on your website can someone download a non-crippled version freely? No where. People have to pay $60 to get the non-crippled plugin. Right? Then you will give them 6 months of support. Then after 6 months if they want more you want another $60.

    Can people download updated versions of the plugin forever? Or 6 months from now if an update happens they need pay it all over again?

    Again, readers who read this. NO WAY is this worth $60. There are many many galleries on Envato far better, less money, pay one time and you have support forever, free updates.

    ATOP ALL that most of the program code in your “Gallery” is code that other people developed.

    For $20, perhaps $25 one time cost this plugin would still be overpriced but ok. To spend $60 so they can have a FULL NOT CRIPPLED version that you will then SUPPORT ridiculous. I have a good mind to pay the $60, add some things to it and release it for free since all WordPress work must have a GPL based license. Exactly what you are doing pretty much right?

    There is always the option of not using the plugin. The people complaining here sound like they were forced to use the plugin.
