• Essentially, this does as it says, and allows for the last modified string in posts, pages, and selected custom taxonomies. As usual for WordPress, the CSS can be a bit troubling, depending upon the theme in use (and that’s not a knock against the plugin; that’s the way it is).

I need to use an older version, due to lack of available PHP 5.6 for my platform (OS/2; though PHP 7.3 is about ready, so that shouldn’t be an issue much longer). I mildly object to having to use a newer PHP version for such a plugin, however. This seems silly.

I strongly object to the nag panel about posting a review. Those annoyances should be banned from all plugins. Like shareware and cardware, if the author does not receive recognition, he shouldn’t be sending out a reminder. That’s the way these things go. Accept it and move on. Very annoying (and the cause for the loss of one star).

Overall, very useful plugin, and quite flexible. Seems to be light on resources, too.

    Thanks
