Motion Theme – How to change transparent color of boxes surrounding titles?

  • Not just for the boxes around the titles, but I’d like to get customize the colors for the transparent backgrounds around the widgets, menus, etc.

    I toyed around with all of the color settings in the style sheet, but I couldn’t find anything that changed it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    #sidebar ul li.boxed and #sidebar h3 in your stylesheet would probably be a good place to start. They’re not using CSS colors, they’re using background images, so you’d need to remove the existing backgrounds and add color information, or upload new background images and replace with your files.

    I highly recommend using FireFox with Firebug (or another browser with an equivalent Inspect Element feature–Chrome and Safari both have that built in now) to track down tricky CSS.

    Ahh, I see now. Thanks a ton sixhours! I can’t get the hang of using Firebug and similar programs, but I plan on trying it again.
