Motor Racing extension

    Hello
    Are there any plans to add a motor racing extension to your great plugin?
    There’s nothing on the market but t could also be used for any sport where there’s more than 2 competitors, such as yacht racing, cycling, radio control clubs etc where you get points for a finishing position?

    If not, do you know any other plugins that would do this?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Actually SportsPress handles this kind of scenario fine. You can add as many competitors and event outcomes as you want to, therefore you’ll have as many finishing positions you want to.

    Thank you for the reply and confirming the good news.

    One last question, how would the upcoming fixtures work if you were doing a ‘race event’ rather than A versus B?

    For instance, I would want to show..

    Saturday 3rd Jan
    Division 1
    TOURING CARS

    Hi!

    If you mean the event title, you can edit that even in a regular match. I believe the default setting would put all competitors in the title, but you can change that ??

    The problem that I have is that for a race night there could be up to 20 people. If I add 10 players to the event, then it shows

    Bob vs Dave vs Mike vs Fred vs etc….. for an event.

    Is it possible not to show the players name, but perhaps list the Race Classes that will be racing at that Event evening or show Logo images for each of the classes (bit like club badges, but all in a single row) ?

    Hi!

    That’s what I mean indeed. You can just rename the title to show anything you want there.

    If you want to add images some custom code is required.

    I have purchased Sportspress Pro now but cannot see a way to rename the Event title if its a Player v Player selection?

    The title shows Player 1 vs Player 2 vs Player 3 etc…

    As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
