    Hello

I recently installed the events calendar plugin on my site and am encountering a bug or an incompatibility with my theme, who knows.

Whenever I mouse over the event on the calendar, it creates a bunch of text below it containing the details of the events, this text does not disappear and is constantly created whenever you mouse over it.

I have replicated in both Edge and Chrome, here is the page:
    https://sector17.co.za/index.php/events/

Just mouse over the link to the event and it will create the text.

I am not very skilled in HTML or CSS however it appears the end of the divs have been commented out.

Any advice on how to resolve this issue?

Hi. Your link — https://sector17.co.za/index.php/events/ nor https://sector17.co.za/events/ — did not work for me.

However, please Test For Conflicts and see if that helps.

Hello, after a response i received directly from the plugin creators site I decided to uninstall and look for an alternative(No help if no money). Apologies for wasting your time.

    Hi,

Sorry for the confusion, but I have to clear this up as what you said is not accurate. We help out on the free version here only on www.ads-software.com. We only support the plugins on our site for premium license holders. If you like to continue we can help out here.

As for your issue it looks like you have something minifiying your script, css, and html. Maybe W3 Total Cache? If not maybe another plugin. Turning that off or disabling it on the Event page fixes this 99% of the time.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am facing the same issue with the hover/mouseover on the event calendar. It creates a bunch of text below it containing the details of the events, this text does not disappear and is constantly created whenever you mouse over it.

I have W3 Total Cache installed in my website, but cannot deactivate it as speed is my priority. Requesting the plugin author or anybody to please help me out with this asap.

    Hey Alokes,

if what Brian said is the contributing factor, you can designate pages to be excluded from minify in the W3 Total Cache settings.

Add the page into the exceptions list for all the minify areas and see if that helps.

    Kind Regards

xergxes7 is correct – unfortunately we can’t do much about caching conflicts, but excluding trouble pages should do the trick. Good luck with the conflict resolution!
