mouse over on featured images

I love this theme, it looks really great. The only thing that I miss is the mouseover / hover or tooltip for featured imaged. Id like to display the title of the post on mouseover, or even better, the excerpt of the post. How can I manage this, or are there any plugins for this that are compatible with this theme?
