• My organization’s website, https://www.KanabecSWCD.org, is coming together. However, we have noticed that the mouse scroll does not work in Chrome on multiple different PCs (have not tried on Mac). All other browsers seem to work fine.

I tried clearing the cache, disabling all plugins, and enabling and checking the error log (empty).

Before the page completes loading, the mouse scroll will occasionally work for a split second before ceasing once the page is fully loaded.

Any advice on where to look for the problem would be much appreciated.

  • Tested in latest version of Chrome for Windows and the mouse scroll works absolutely fine!

WordPress has absolutely nothing to do with the mouse scroll.

Thanks for the feedback. I just checked and we are running the most current version of Chrome. Even so, restarted, re-cleared cache, and re-launched Chrome – still no mouse scroll only on our site once the page is fully loaded. It works fine on every other website and application.

WordPress may have nothing to do with it, but something about our site in particular is causing it to not work only with Chrome and on every PC in our office and our partner offices. I am at a total loss.

Do you see any javascript errors in the chrome debugging console?

    I do get one message:

JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1
    jquery-migrate.min.js?ver=1.4.1:formatted:33

I thought it had something to do with ensuring backwards compatibility of plugins? Scroll didn’t work even with every single plugin disabled.
