Move a meta box to the bottom of the edit pages

Hi, i have followed the link on this post (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/set-metabox-priority-to-low/) to move a meta box to the bottom of the edit pages but it doesn’t seem to be working. I want to use it for pages and posts, and also for custom post types, but it’s not working.
Is there not an easier / better way?
