Move a page or 2 from one site to another?

    Can anyone suggest a plug in or procedure to move a couple select pages from one site to another. I am duplicating a site on another domain so I don’t have to recreate it from scratch. I don’t want to move the entire site, just a few pages but I have not found any way to do this. I know the WP Impost/Export will help but all the pages or posts will be moved because I can’t distinguish pages using dates or authors.

    Copying a page would also be a help.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    In your Dashboard, create a new author at Users > Add New.

    Then, go to Posts > All Posts, and edit the posts you want to move (you can use Bulk Edit). Change the author of the posts you want to move to the new author.

    Then, when you export, just export the posts from the new author.

    Another question since you were so helpful. I recently migrated my website from one domain to another using all-in-on-migration. The pages all seemed to transfer but there are plugins that didn’t. When I try to access the website it shows “Website Under maintenance”
    This should not be the case.

    When you FTP into your root directory, is there a .maintenance file? If you do, delete the .maintenance file and see if that fixes the “Website Under Maintenance” error.
