• I am still relatively new to WordPress so any assistance would be very much appreciated. Under the Dashboard, I navigated to Settings > Reading > and chose the option for the static pages. The Landing page should be the “about us” page, and I would like to make the blog roll “Lifestyle”

The website is https://www.SWPEvents.com and I’ve tried to read a few of the other forums about this and none seem to have worked … please help??

I am using the Themekraft “Custom Community” Theme.

    And what’s the problem?

The problem I was having was I couldn’t change the landing page to be the “About us” page and when I could get it to change, the blog roll would disappear and only appear when I would search for the blog name.

I think I figured it out though I changed the link for the “Blog” page under the menu and it seems to have worked. I will keep you posted though if anything changes.

In the meantime, do you know how I can remove the “Leave a reply” option from every single page on my site?? I honestly don’t even know how it got there.

Uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles ” in Settings -> Discussion. Then edit each existing Post & Page and uncheck “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane on each Edit Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options and tick “Discussion”.
