move comment to different post

I think you would have to recreate the comment on that post, and then delete the old version. At least that is what I have done in the past.

You should be able to edit the new comment to have the correct name, email, and time stamp.

I think you may have to edit that right in your database.

It isn’t too tough to edit the value of a field in your database using phpMyAdmin. In fact, you could just edit the “comment_post_ID” field, to move the comment to a different post.

Of course, your database is a delicate object that could be easily broken, so I always make a backup before I tinker with it!
