Note that drag and drop has two modes, move and copy. If it seems to be copying files, click the move files icon, the forth icon from the left in the tool bar, to put it into move mode.

    Hello!
I did press the move button but still the files remain on the source folder.
Also it would be nice the move button to change color or something to know that we pressed it ?

    Thank you

    hi @chmichael

the colors do change if you toggle to move/duplicate.

could you test with a different theme, because I suspect that your theme is causing problems (active user of the addon)

    regards,

Sounds like you may have a plugin conflict. Disabling your the other plugins and then try clicking the move icon. In addition to the icon changing colors, the text, “Drag and drop is set for moving files” is displayed in the message area.

It seems it moves the file but not the thumbnails if it’s an image!

    Thank you

I’m currently not able to reproduce this issue. Let’s see how your site is configured. Can you visit the Media Library Folders Support page on your site. Go to the System Info tab. There highlight and copy the information about your site and paste it into an email. Send it to support at maxfoundry and include ‘Move doesn’t delete source files’ in the subject line.
