I am trying to help a friend use MailPoet by installing it. I accidentally added her domain to my account. I would like to separate her domain from my account and create a new MailPoet account.
I can remove the domain, but when I try to create a new MailPoet account for her with an email address using her domain, MailPoet says the address is already in use.
    Should I just start over?

    Hi @arlenesey,

it’s possible that your friend already has a MailPoet account, and they just don’t remember they created it in the past.

When you (or your friend) have access to that email address, I’d recommend resetting password using that email address, after which you can log in and start a new MailPoet plan.

@neosinner – thank you for your response. I doubt my friend has an account – they never had a WordPress website before. Another possibility is that I did not sign out of my account before trying to create a new one and MailPoet denied my IP address.

Have you tried using your friend’s email on the reset password page if they received an email from MailPoet or not?

When logged in, you can’t even access the page to create a new account – it will redirect you to your account. So if you were on the singup page, you were logged out. In case your IP is blocked, you wouldn’t be able to access any of MailPoet pages.

@neosinner – I waited 24 hours and created a new account for her and it worked fine. I have set everything up and she is happy.
So the problem was that I was still logged in. Thanks again for your response.
