    Hello,
I’m trying to move the location of the featuerd image on an actual event description page. I’ve gone into the settings- formatting – events- Default single event format – and used the hooks to modify the layout of the rest of the page, but it seems like the placement of the featured image is not adjusted here. Currently it shows at the very top above the title, description, etc. Would like to move it down or off to the side. Any way to accomplish this?

    Thanks!

  • could it be a theme issue? can you try to temporarily revert back to default theme twenty twelve to confirm?

    Hello,
Looks like partially related to theme. I switched to twenty eleven, and no featured image is displayed. Which is not good., since this is this is the only option that front end users are given to upload an image for their event. So it seems like your plugin just give the user an option to upload a feeatured image, but leaves it up to the template where to put it. Is there a code for your program I can use to place the featured image specifically in the “default signle event format” box?
    Thanks!

That’s right, the correct template tag needs to be in place to show the featured image. This is the tag you need:
