Move from subfolder to root when other sites are in root?

    Hi everyone! I have created a WordPress site for a client in a temporary folder. She now wants it moved to the main domain name. When I went in there I realized that all her other websites – there are 4+ of them – are folders inside of her root domain (I think they are add on domains?).

    If I move the WordPress files over to the root, is this going to mess up the other sites/folders she has in there? I am nervous about doing this now. Thanks and any advice would be appreciated!
