move gallery from another website

    Can I export a gallery from one site to another? Where is the gallery stored on the server? Can I do this with FTP? I was playing with the plugin on one site but now want to totally move it to a new site instead, but I built a gallery I want to keep.

  • Dear @sock2me,

    Export/import functionality isn’t supported at this moment. Grid Kit doesn’t use static images and urls, it reuses WordPress’ Media Gallery image IDs and creates the picture urls on fly (dynamically). So, if you simply export your gallery tables and import somewhere else, it won’t work! As I mentioned those media IDs won’t be available on the new destination.
