  • Hi there, I am not clear on what you are trying to do but you can look at a site I built and the menu is under the header image. I am just a novice and it it was very difficult but I managed to get it done. You can look at my website and see if this is what you are talking about. smallenginerepairservices.com

That has been about two months ago when 4.7 crashed my 2013 site. I built this one using a child theme which I had to figure out how to change some things in the header. I had managed to add some css to get it too work out.

Hi there, thanks for your reply. I’ve just create a child theme and managed to get it done as I wanted. I’ve changed the php position, menu with header.
    Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I am only a novice and I struggled with trying to modify the header more than anything because it will move things around inside of it. I tried so many things and I don’t remember how I got it all done but I am not going to change anything else because it is working. I could never get any help so it was a struggle but having a Child theme will help you a lot.
Sorry I could not be of more help but I spent almost 3 weeks 18 – 24 hrs a day and I am glad it is behind me, I lost my original site using 2013 when 4.7 was pushed automatically without warning. I had to reteach myself Word Press and more this time around, converting a blogging theme into a website is a challenge, my home page with 8 images loads in ~.8 sec so I am happy.
    Good Luck,
    Larry
