move my header (with swf embedded) up to the page

Hi! I ve been trying to move my header up on the top of the space, so the white space disappears but I have no luck. I used the kimili plug in to enable an swf file in my header and everything is going gr8 except for the position of the header. I tried to change the padding in css from 105 to 4 (I tested it with the firebug plugin and it worked) but nothing happened! Do you have any idea? Unfortunately, the site is under construction (I m using the WP Maintenance Mode) so you wont be able to see my site. Do you want me to send some screeshot or sth?
