Move nav menu up (absolute)

    Hey guys,
    I’m looking for a way to move the nav menu on the home page up about 100 pixels. It displays fine in my resolution (1920×1080), however is much lower and cuts off the bottom row of thumbs in lower resolutions. I know how to move the thumbnails position, just can’t find the nav menu.

    Alternatively,
    Does anyone have a way for the webpage to sense what resolution the user is viewing in, and correct the vertical position of the nav menu so I don’t have to do this? The thumbnails not fitting horizontally is no problem as the side-scrolling arrows work. I’d rather have it sense and center vertically.

  • 1920×1080 is not a standard to design for. You have to design a web site for the target audience.

    I know it’s not a “standard” resolution. In fact, it’s a widescreen HD resolution. But there are so many diverse resolutions nowadays that people use on a regular basis, it’s impossible to design for specifically one. It displays horizontally fine, it’s just because the thumbnails have an absolute (160×160) size, why it displays weird.

    Anyone have a way to convert the absolute positioning to relative based on user resolution?
