move navigation bar using custom css plugin?

  • i’d like to move the navigation bar below the header image

    You will need to start by creating a child theme for this and then begin work on a custom version of header.php in your child theme.

    i take it such alterations can’t be done using a plug in then?

    It can, but it’s the wrong way to go. The way Esmi’s proposing is that you’d move the navigation HTML below the header HTML. It’s easier this way too.
