I’m trying to move the entire comment section from below my posts and put it into my site’s off-canvas navigation.

I’m using your plugin to stop the off-canvas navigation from closing when someone leaves a comment and the page reloads.

That part is working great, thank you.

The problem I am having now is when someone clicks to submit a comment, the page (behind my open off canvas navigation) is scrolling and all the notifications are displaying on the page.

I’d like to stop the page from scrolling and move all the notifications inside my off-canvas navigation.

    Is this possible?

    Thank you

@bikeboyblue can you possibly share a screenshot or a short video of the undesired behavior? I’m having trouble visualizing the issue.

    Thanks!

@bikeboyblue one of the things you can try to see if it helps is in the Advanced settings for this plugin, there is a “Disable Scrolling”, which you can toggle on.

    Hi Ronald,

Thank you for the speedy reply.

I’ve tried disable scrolling and that seems to work.

But all the notices are showing up on the page and not in my slide-out where I would like them to be.

I can’t figure out how to add screen shots here?

The site is up on a temp domain under construction mode. I’ll take down construction mode for a while so you can get a look.

You can trigger the slide out with the hamburger in the header or with the button bellow the post title with the bullhorn icon.

@bikeboyblue I took a look at the site, but as you mentioned, it’s in maintenance mode.

I think I understand the issue. The overlays are showing for the page, but not off-canvas.

I think an option to disable the overlays in that situation, or load them in inline instead would be best.

Sorry Ronald I forgot to take it out of maintenance mode. It’s out now.

How would I go about disabling the overlays or loading them inline?

    Thank you for your help,
    Dave

    Morning Ronald,

Just a heads up. I ended up installing wpDiscuz instead and seems to work.

    Thank you for your help,
    Dave
