Move old posts to new subdomain

    Hi everybody.

    I have a wordpress news site that is getting too big and heavy 28.000 posts right now, so I was wondering if its good practice to move a collection of old unvisited posts to a subdomain (so as not to delete them). Any ideas?

    I would create backups, but I don’t think there is a need to move anything. After all, you probably will still get hits to old posts via search engines and links from other sites.
